Cookie Recipe - Chocolate Florentines

A Florentine Chocolate is always a pleasure. And this chocolate biscuit recipe is easy to make and very tasty. Serve these biscuits as a snack or treat as after eating.

How to Make Chocolate Florentines

This combination of chocolate and dried fruit and nuts is a classic, special occasion cookies.

Preparation time: 12 minutes

Cooking time: 25-35 minutes

Makes 12 -14

Ingredients:

1 oz/25 gm glaceCherries

½ 2 oz / 60 g unsalted butter

2 oz / 50 g sugar

2 tablespoons cream

1 oz / 25 g raisins

1 oz / 25 gm mixed candied peel

2 oz / 50 g almonds

2 tablespoons flour

5 oz / 150 g of chocolate, broken into pieces

Method of preparation

1 - Lightly grease a large baking sheet.

2 - Melt the butter in a saucepan. Mix sugar and heat until bubbling. Remove from heat and stirThe dried cream, fruit, almonds, flour and chopped cherries.

3 - Place teaspoonfuls of mixture into a baking dish, spaced well that you respect each other. These must be implemented in at least two games.

4 - in the preheated oven 180C for about 8 minutes, until the mixture has spread. Immediately, with a bold, simple cookie cutter, press the edge of each cookie to form round clean.
