Brussels - Chocolate Capital of the World

As de facto capital of Europe, home to the headquarters of NATO and EU, it is fair to say that Brussels plays a vital role in European society and global politics, and if you have asked for something that is famous Brussels is obliged to name of its role as the capital of European politics, in my mind.

Then again, you can choose to respond in a more 'diplomatic', and rename the other thing that Brussels is world famous for: chocolate!

Ingrededients for the recipe for chocolate cake

1 cup butter, at room temperature

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 (8-ounce), dark chocolate or chocolate chips

) 1 (16-oz can chocolate syrup

1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup milk or buttermilk acid

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups flour

Here's how to cook the recipe for chocolate cake ...

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 12-Cup Bundt pan, leaving 2 inches at the top to the cake to rise.

In a large bowl of butter and sugar together until false. The eggs, one at a time, beating until it is fully integrated.

Melt in a heavy pot on chocolate bars or low heat chocolate chips, stir until smooth.Remove from heat. Add chocolate syrup and butter mixture to sugar mixture, stirring until well.

Add 1 / 2 the mixture of milk chocolate mixture. Add 1 1 / 2 cups of flour, stir. The remaining milk mixture and the remaining 1 1 / 2 cups flour, beat until well incorporated. Pour into prepared Bundt pan. Bake about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center come out clean. Remove from oven and cool 15 minutes on a wire rack, remove from pan and invert on a cakePlate.

INGREDIENTS:

* 1-1/2 cups butter, softened

* 3 cups sugar

* 5 eggs

* 2 tsp. Vanilla

* 1-1/4 cups buttermilk

* 2-1/3 cups flour

* 2 / 3 cup cocoa

* 1 / 2 tsp. BakingPowder

* 1 / 2 tsp. Baking powder

* 1 / 4 tsp. Sale

* 1 / 3 cup peanut butter

* 1-1/3 cups sweet chocolate chips

PREPARATION lbs this recipe chocolate cake:

Heat to 325 degrees F. Spray a 10 inch Bundt pan with cooking spray Teflon (spray with flour) to make the oven and set aside.

In a bowl, butter and sugar until fluffy. The eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Alternately with buttermilk, add butter mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 65-75 minutes until a toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean and cake begins to pull from many quarters of pan. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then turn the plate and cool completely.

Frost, peanut butter and melt chocolate chips sweetin the microwave (2 minutes at power 50%) and mix until smooth. Spoon over cake. 16 servings
